Inspiration: Seeing the Light

Light is such mind altering force flowing freely. It can change the way you see color, perceive shapes, textures and allow you to see things in a new beautiful way. If you step out in that golden hour near sunset or sunrise you find that the sun sparkles on the earth is such a magical way. It takes a steady, patient, relaxed eye to notice what is happening.

Light is what gives life, the green above our heads and under our feet. It's the all powerful source of energy and what makes us feel good. It's light that inspires us to get up and go about our day.

These pictures were taken at my favorite place. The first time I was taken to this place I couldn't believe how beautiful it was hidden deep in a tiny bodunk town on a farm in Kentucky. This place is my idea of heaven. What it will look like, feel and smell when it's my time to make that trip.

I love it here so much.

It inspires me and brings me back to my core.

What is your idea of heaven? Is there a place that gives you a tiny slice of it?

  2. One day a few weeks ago, I was riding in the car, looking at the beautiful forest, and wondering if there were "woods" in heaven. That night, I had the most amazing dream. I saw the most beautiful mountains, and flawless forest... shining with a strange, lovely glow.... it's hard to describe, but it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It was like I was floating through the air, not that I was actually in this place. Just that I was getting a glimpse. Atop a mountain, looking out into the beauty, there was my boyfriends Grandpa, Eddie. He was an amazing man, and he passed away a couple years ago. It was like, he was showing me.... here, this is where I am, and where you will one day be. It was the only "vision" dream I've ever had, and it means so much to me. It was just crazy, how I was wondering that earlier, then, I had that dream. It really touched my soul! (:
