Fabulous Friday: up and at um

Well it finally decided to rain after the weather man told us for the past week or so that it would and my new plants are getting some good fresh water. I am so excited about today even though my allergies are driving me crazy. Today is a fresh start at a new schedule that I have been wanting to implement for some time now. My after school program is over so I don't have to think about that anymore and I can focus on my blog and shop which is what I have been missing.

Recently I had someone message me with some questions that they were using for a college business project and it really opened my eyes to how not organized I really am. One of the questions was how many hours do you work a week and what is your schedule like. Honestly I thought for a second... maybe I should act like I have a schedule but decided against it. My answer ended up somewhere along the lines of this... I don't have a schedule... I work all the time.

 I realized this is a problem that needs to be fixed. I need to have some kind of schedule to get what I need to get done. It can only help right? 

For the past couple of days my pup has been waking me up at five to use the bathroom and after that he gets super hyper so I forced myself to take him for a walk. The good thing about it is that it's still dark and my neighbors won't see him and its cool enough that he won't start crying.

Before the pup I would sleep till almost 1 or 2 in the afternoon, drag myself out of bed and figure out what I was going to do for the after school program. I would usually stay up till about 4 sometimes even 6 in the morning and it was taking it's toll on my work ethic. So being up with the rest of the world feels good. I feel like I have my whole day and I can focus. So for the most part the puppy is doing some good for my life.

I enjoyed working at night because I knew I wasn't missing out on anything because nothing really goes on late at night. I would also stay up so that I could wake Justin up for work at 4:30. It doesn't matter if someone was bulldozing the apartment... he would sleep through it. I am sick of that schedule and it made me feel like crap so I am glad that it's all changing.

Now all I need to do is devise a schedule which is what I will be working on this coming week. It will be interesting to see how my work ethic changes. I am excited.

I feel like I say this all the time... but life is so strange. You could never really imagine what is going to happen to your life and you can try to plan but most likely things will just fall into place like they are suppose to. A couple of months ago I thought I would never be able to fix my sleep pattern and now thanks to the pup it's working out. It is nice to have something to take care of... and now he is asleep on my feet.
