Thoughts and Reflection

I been slacking on my blog lately and feeling bad about it. However I have had a good reason. My sales are crazy for christmas. The photo above is really the only picture I had time to take in between all of the crazyness. That is one day worth of packages and every day for the past couple of days it has been like this. Don't get me wrong, I am ecstatic about it! However I forgot how long it takes to just package items. That load took around 5 hours with the help of Justin and no break.

Then again I never really had to handle a load like this yet so it's been a real eye opener to what's to come if I plan to expand my little business. If only every month was like December has been so far or even like November. I mean I am totally shocked but I was preparing for this in the downtime. My siblings thought I was crazy collecting all my supplies in such great quantities like I was preparing for the end of times. The truth is I really wasn't that prepared. Everything is about gone.... let me say it again... it's unreal!

As for life in general my boyfriend lost his job so we are depending on me to make money. It's been stressful and kept me from enjoying the success of sales. I also have big things to plan for soon so it's been just as crazy. I feel blessed in every way though. I know god must be watching over me to let me have this little bit of success so that we can keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.

I will say that I am so happy and grateful to everyone who has made a purchase from run2thewild or just left a sweet message. I love what I am doing and I just keep dreaming of the future. I just keep repeating my goals, dreams and hopes to myself. I was actually thinking about sharing them with you all if your interested. It's not like I haven't told everyone else I encounter. I don't want anything to get in the way of me and my big dream and I won't let it happen either.

So yeah I am super excited for new year and I can't wait to get a breather and plan for the future of Run2theWild.

PS To celebrate I am planning a big wonderful giveaway to be announced at the end of this week so keep your eyes peeled!!

I know what it's like when your partner loses a job or doesn't have one for a while. It's tight, and you realize how much extra money you used to have. Ah.

    1. Thanks Angel.... lol you are so right about the extra money which seemed like money we needed but it amazing how much money you really don't need. I checked out your blog it looks like were alike with our husky pups... and I think I read that your bf's name is Justin too? It's nice to hear someone else has been in a situation like what were going through but we will make it! .... i think ;P

    2. You will for sure. We made it! Sometimes I think about what money we actually need to live and pay off each month and i'm amazed at how much extra money there is. Where does it all go? a little snack out here, an extra pair of jeans here. I don't know. Just stay positive. Good things will happen soon. Yes his name is Justin too. :D

  4. Very cool! And congrats on so many sales--coming from a happy customer who is wearing your earrings (teal rose studs) right now, and LOVING them! SO HAPPY FOR ALL YOUR SALES!

My partner has been having problems with losing his construction jobs in this (still) crappy economy. I know what you mean about having the pressure of putting food on the table and keeping the roof over your heads. It has been tough on the relationship, but sometimes we just stop in the middle of fighting, try to look at each other and remind ourselves that WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM, and we are together because we love each other. It has been incredibly helpful, and I hope you guys make it through. I'm sure you will if you always remember the love in your hearts.

Also, I love conversating with other young people about goals and life plans. I'd love to hear yours!
